Vesta GL / GL-988 filters
If your machine says Vesta GL or GL-988, you are looking at an older model family. Its old filter range included GL-only UltraWater and sediment cartridges, BioStone Plus, Remineralizer Max, and paired filter packages. Check the older-model filter directory for Vesta GL listings and current availability; Athena 9 H2 is an optional new-machine alternative.
No need to guess based on a filter name alone.

They are useful clues to your previous setup—not a promise that a current H2 cartridge fits your older ionizer.
The Vesta GL Model Only designation matters: this was an older GL-family filter listed for its right-side second position. An Athena 9 H2 has a different filter system. Check the GL/GL-988 model marking before considering an Athena 9 H2 as a new-machine upgrade.
This sediment cartridge was listed for the left-side first position in the older Vesta GL. Its name distinguishes it from sediment products for other AlkaViva machines. Explore a full H2 ionizer upgrade rather than ordering by the word Vesta alone.
This GL-era package paired UltraWater with a sediment filter. If you previously ordered the pair, identify your machine as Vesta GL—not Athena 9 H2—before choosing a next step. Discuss the new machine's filter options as part of an upgrade.
The GL-988 BioStone Plus cartridge was a Vesta GL-specific second-position choice. It is distinct from the shared BioStone Plus listing for other older ionizers. Confirm the GL-988 marking and compare Athena 9 H2 as a separate ionizer purchase.
