Performance
Three important considerations
Filter performance
Testing performed in independent, EPA / NELAP-certified labs for: 21 heavy metals, 6 forever chemicals, 68 pharmaceuticals, 7 hormones, 45 pesticides and herbicides, 87 VOCs & SOCs, and 15 other anions & disinfectants - a total of 249! Nothing was hidden or left out. We reported and reduced everything – even the toughest ones like arsenic and chromium VI. We also tested as close to the EPA Maximum Contaminant Level as possible.
Hydrogen performance
Smart Electrodes are made from the purest Japanese titanium and platinum. Add in precise Korean engineering, and the result? Greater performance at greater efficiency, that stands the test of time. Our proprietary membranes are sonically welded - never chemically bonded, like others. Marry them to Smart Electrodes and you get H2 Infusion Technology and unmatched performance. Now that’s smart.
ORP and pH performance
The Athena 13 H2 will, depending on the source water, create a pH over 11.0 and an ORP over -800. It'd be misleading and false marketing to say that an ionizer will get a particular result, since the result will vary depending on the mineral concentration and flow rate of the source water. Our guarantee is that if you can show - at any time within the first 75 days after purchase - that our ionizer doesn't outperform any other brand ionizer using a similar number of plates and the same water source, then you can return it!

Vesta H2
Best water system ever we love it so much
WOW. 3 in 1
It's a privilege to drink alkaline water and use the acidic side for many different purposes. Having Hydrogen added on to it now, it's unique. Having used the previous model for over 10 years, this model is easier, and more potent. Thank you for continuing to improve the lives of many people.
Love it
Just had a well drilled and love the new water in our new machine
Clean!!
My nieces have a system similar to this Vesta and paid allot more for it 5yrs ago. This is the same, except better. My research on these paid off and I absolutely have no regrets spending the money. Clean water that's alkaline at my finger tips. I'm in the heart care field and I know we are made up of 70-80% water ourselves and need to drink plenty daily. So, better make it clean and healthy!! Pay now or pay later, right🫶💧👍

Love it!
The product is great and the customer service is amazing! I appreciate the team for taking care of my concerns!
One of the Best
I did extensive research on H2 ionizers and found the Alkaviva Vesta H2 met all my specifications. The units 9 ionizer plates quickly provide the type of water desired from alkaline to acidic. Ease of installation and maintenance were other factors that lead to my decision. Great customer service from David Banuelos made the entire purchase and his help in obtaining additional material for my unique installation directly to the water line effortless. The Vesta H2 Ionizer is definitely one of the best.
Impressive machine
It’s better than I expected.
International order
Love my Alkaviva! David was extremely professional - he handled my entire purchase process seamlessly and efficiently answered all my questions. My filter was delivered promptly and safely to Asia. The installation procedure was simple as David had shared an installation video with me. David also took care of all my after care enquiries. Thanks, David!
Flawlessly provided high pH water for year
I have owned the Alka Viva Memory 2 water ionizer for 7 years used daily for drinking high Ph water in the morning and purified water to make tea or coffee throughout the day. The high Ph water has had a very positive effect on every organ and muscle in my body including hearing and eyesight remaining constant and even improving with age! I really like that I can see and adjust the actual Ph rating by adjusting the flow when filling a glass. This was unavailable on another brand I had earlier so I was never really sure of the actual Ph rating. The unit has worked flawlessly for all these years.
Vesta H2 alkaline water ionizer-countertop
I love this machine!!! I love the taste of the water! I drink more water now than I ever have. Periodically, I test my saliva and my urine. I love the excellent results! I stay hydrated and feel the difference before having the machine. I love the changes I’m noticing with my skin, hair and nails. I also appreciate the additional options that come with my ionizer. I use the different settings for cleaning and decreasing, for cooking and preparing tea, washing my fruits and vegetables with the acid setting and the next time I receive flowers I’ll use the asset setting when I cut the tips of them off and when I water my plants, brushing my teeth and washing any cuts and scratches that I acquire, living out in the country. I’m highly impressed with the function of my H2 ionizer. Furthermore, it’s a beautiful machine that I’m proud to have sitting taking up little space on my countertop. How fortunate I am to be drinking alkaline ionized water. Oh yes, customer service was supreme to work with. This company is totally efficient! I encourage the purchase of this H2 ionizer!
Awesome By Comparison
I was an Enagic owner for 20 years. I didn't realize that Enagic was the only company that uses Electrolysis Enhancer to gain a PH of 11. 5 and 2. 5. Not to mention that the enhancer is corrosive. Well, my dad and I survived 20 years of that but have now moved on to H2 water by AlkaViva. The technology is awesome as I dug deep in my research before deciding on another company before my purchase. It's also easy to use and the on-screen displays make it clear as to what you're producing.
Great Unit
We purchased this unit to replace a 16 year old model and we could not be happier, This is the best tasting water I have ever had and both my wife and I feel like it has given us much more energy.
It was easy to install
It was easy to install and David my sales representative really gave me patient guidance and assistance in understanding points I wasn't clear on.
I Love my new Athena H2 wWater Ionizer
My first Athena Ionizer became obsolete after 20+ years of great pure water, so I purchased a New Athena H2 Water Ionizer, and I'm overjoyed with it's Performance. Athena has upgraded their Water Ionizer and I'm very happy & satisfied with this new Ionizer and can't wait to feel the difference I know it will make. I Never had heartburn from spicy food while drinking Athena Ionizer water until my old Ionizer quit working. Now I'm back drinking Healthy water! Mel Colby, Vancouver, WA
Nice designed. , best water ionizer
Nice designed. , best water ionizer machine!! I just got a Vesta H2 a week ago. So far so good. Water tasted great!
Dr. Sharon Yost
My first encounter/experience with this company was 2010. I purchased. The Athena water machine. Which I totally enjoyed all the health benefits. I recently upgraded to the Vesta H2 machine. If you’re wondering, was the machine starting to give me problems… my answer, is NO! I have three daughters and I purchased two of my daughters the Athena water machine. Therefore, daughter number three will receive the same blessing. I gave her my Athena machine and decided to upgrade for myself. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this company, and my only purchased would be the water filters. Here’s to spreading the word it’s worth the purchase!!
excellent service
I needed water filters for our alkaline machine and Darin Morgan the staff was very helpful and supported me to get the right product.
Excellent service and buying experience
My experience with the AlkaViva has been too notch! My Sthena is up and working well; Germblaster has been a surprising plus as well. Thanks Susan Cannon and staff!
Just got started
So far so good… but I need to get more water test drops because mine have gotten spilled. The water tastes great
I embrace my new melody
I embrace my new melody H2O Ionizer like the one I had for 12+ years. The only thing I’m missing is the music when I turn on the alkaline part of the machine. My former ionizer had the music feature for the OH+ According to the late Japanese water scientist and researcher, Emoto , when the right music is played and accompanied with the water, the water crystals turn hexagonal at a faster pace and thus reaching the brain for hydration purposes more effectively and rapidly. My new alkalizer is missing this feature. I guess I’ll just have to play Coltrane’s version of “ These are a few of my Favorite Things when I use the alkaline portion . Sincerely, Linda Johnson
What do you think when
What do you think when I still have not gotten it. And to sick with COVID to do much…. I like the last one I had….wonder what warrenty covers.on old one…..to sick todo anything
Vesta H2 Alkaline Water Ionizer
This device made our water taste much softer feeling than drinking from the tap. We have very hard water (19 - 20 grains/gal), so a hard water removing filter was added before the water goes into the AlkaViva Vesta H2 Alkaline Water Ionizer. Seems to be durable and reliable.
Best on the market!!
This is my second Vesta in 11 years. I absolutely love it!! I would never buy anything else and as a matter of fact I bought two. One for me and another for my daughter.
Best water – best health
Just purchased my new Vesta H2 alkalizing water machine after owning my Athena Alkaviva machine for 17 years. I believe drinking the water from these amazing machines is the single best thing that I do for my health. I will definitely drink this water for the rest of my life. It is worth every penny that it cost to own it!
Vesta H2
It’s amazing. Feeling like I have more energy & hydrated
Best purchase I’ve ever made!
My father who has always said water is water has absolutely fallen in love with this machine he says he noticed a difference in how his body feels when he drinks it an makes everything taste better! My mother is also buying one today I’m sure she will not be disappointed!
Everyone needs this Ionizer
Best Investment I have EVER made
Gotta have
Taste you notice immediately right away I would recommend this to anyone I already to a couple of my family members. They are looking to purchase this song to.
Vesta H2
Amazing smooth ionized water. I’m already noticing a difference in less than a week! Best decision I ever made!
I'm very happy with it.
I'm very happy with it. The flow knob is a great function. I tested the water many times since I got it and consistently getting around a 10 PH if my eyes aren't lying to me.😊👍🏽
Customer Service
Searching out a good water filter that would suit my families needs. David the Sales Rep was excellent in explaining things to me and answered all my questions regarding the machine. He was efficient and helpful placing my order. Can't wait for it to arrive!!!

Alkaviva Vesta H2
I have been very pleased with this machine. I've only had it for 2 years, but loving it. The filtered water taste better than any brand. My whole family uses it and use the water for everything including cooking. watering indoor plants, etc. My indoor plants are thriving...just by using the filtered water.
THE TOP OF THE LINE NONE BETTER
I HAVE BEEN WITH THIS COMPANY FOR YEARS going 19 yrs. VERY BEST MACHINES GREAT TASTING WATER AND COFFEE OH MY GOSH WHAT THIS WATER DOES TO THE TASTE OF THAT
Happy
Pleased with the replacement filters for our 10 year old Vesta - thank you for making the purchase easy with delivery timely!
Alkaviva Vesta H2
Great machine that works reliably with water filters that last a long time. Bre helped me with my first filter order and provided great service.
These filters are the best at alkaline ionizing water.
I have already replaced my filters with this company. Professional services and prompt delivery. I once tried other filters to no avail. I strongly recommend this brand over anything on Amazon!
Love my machine and was so quick to install, highly recommend it
So far I have run 1800 liters of water through the machine and it has worked fantastically. Our output falls between 3.5 ph on the low end and 11 ph on the high end. I almost spent twice as much for the popular kangen k8 we tested. While it put out a ph of 2.0 it still cost 3x then Vesta. Vesta H2 Water Ionizer is perfect product for us with best tasting water, so happy with the purchase
Great Machine
Very pleased with the system

Hi. I'm so grateful for my El Cavijo water ionizer because it's truly changed our household. I provide water to a household of nine people and everyone is benefiting from a cleaner, healthier hydration. We're drinking more water every day and feeling more energized and refreshed. It has also saved us money because we buy far fewer bottled drinks and bottled water now. I love knowing that none of the water goes to waste in our home. We use the water for Dr. Cooking and even watering our plants with the gray water and they have been amazing and they're thriving. Having a system has made healthy hydration simple and convenient for all of us. It feels good knowing that we're helping both our health and the environment at the same time. I honestly recommend Alkaviva to anyone looking to improve their hydration and daily wellness experience.

Okay. This is my Alkaviva machine. I use it a lot for my cleaning product that I make. So I use acidic, and I fill up my bottle. And then I use some essential oils, and that's how I clean airbnbs. Been doing this now for years. Nobody's ever had gotten sick in my units. No one's ever complained of anything not being disinfected, nothing. It is the best machine for acidic water for any of your cleaning needs. Definitely changed my life with my cleaning company.

Counter Top Ionizers questions
Practical guidance for choosing and installing a countertop water ionizer.
How does a countertop water ionizer connect to my kitchen faucet?
A countertop ionizer typically sits beside the sink and connects to a compatible faucet using a diverter. Water is routed through the ionizer when you want filtered, ionized water, while normal faucet use remains available.
Can I move a countertop ionizer to another home or kitchen?
Yes. Countertop models are the more portable installation style because the main unit remains above the counter and does not require a dedicated ionizer faucet. Confirm faucet compatibility before moving or ordering.
Which countertop plate count should I choose?
Choose by the hydrogen performance and capacity you want: 13 plates provide the highest H₂ output in the range, 9 plates balance performance and value, and 7- or 5-plate models suit more compact everyday needs. Compare the live specifications above for the exact model differences.
Will a countertop ionizer work with a pull-out or sprayer faucet?
Many pull-out, sprayer, and nonstandard faucets cannot accept a standard countertop diverter directly. Check the faucet outlet and available adapters before ordering; if a reliable diverter connection is not possible, an undersink model with a dedicated faucet may be the better fit.
How much counter space and power does a countertop ionizer need?
Allow room beside the sink for the ionizer body, connection hose, and water outlet without sharply bending the tubing. A nearby grounded electrical outlet is also required. Confirm the selected model’s dimensions against your usable counter area before ordering.
Does hard water change countertop ionizer performance?
Hard water can increase mineral scale inside the electrolysis chamber and may change the pH and hydrogen levels produced at a given setting. Follow the model’s cleaning guidance and ask about pretreatment if your home has high hardness or visible scale buildup.
What happens to the acidic water from a countertop ionizer?
During ionization, the secondary outlet discharges the acidic water stream separately from the drinking-water stream. Route that hose into the sink and follow the owner’s manual for any suggested non-drinking household uses; do not use the acidic stream as drinking water.
