Look up the exact model number in the certifier’s directory. Confirm the standard, the claims covered, the test scope, and whether the listing is current.
A certification for one component or contaminant does not establish performance for every model or every reduction claim.
Distinguish certification from a test report
A laboratory test report and a product certification are different forms of evidence. Review the complete document and ask the manufacturer which model, capacity, and operating conditions it covers.
